| Parents and Band Students: A rubric is a document that spells out a step by step process for mastering a particular skill. The rubric above will be used to track your child's learning progress with recognizing note names on the staff for their instrument. Instructions for pracitcing the skills contained in this rubric can be found on the "Band Curriculum Page". You may go to that page by clicking here. The goal for your child is to achieve at lest 90% accuracy with each skill step before moving to the next. Once step 6 is complete with 90% accuracy, he/she may move on to the next level rubric when available. Level 2 - "Note Duration Lesson" is currently under construction.. |
